As a solo practitioner with a niche green building and sustainable business practice, Twitter has been great. It ties my monthly email newsletter to my website and drives traffic to both. Nearly every one of my tweets is retweeted by others. Not only does it allow an attorney to demonstrate knowledge, but it also allows one to be a thought leader in a particular subject area. And importantly, I can track new clients from my Tweeting. I recommend that attorneys investigate what Twitter can do for their practices.
